The North Country Bears of Minnesota proudly present the Second Annual "OctoBear Dance" and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 14, 2006. The festivities will take place at the James Ballentine VFW located at 2916 Lyndale Ave So. in Minneapolis.  The dance will be held from 7:30pm until 11:30pm and will feature classic disco selections from the 70's and 80's by a DJ. 

The Silent Auction will feature local artist works and gift certificates form local GLBT-friendly businesses.  Bids on all items will end at 10pm. 

Cover charge is $10.00/person at the door. A cash bar will be available.  

All proceeds will benefit District 202, a nonprofit youth community center in Minneapolis committed to providing cultural and educational opportunities by and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender youth and their friends.
