Bear Tubing the Cannon River

We're Bear Tubing down the Cannon River with the Minneapolis Movie Bears! Come join a flotilla of 150 bears as we enjoy the scenery on our backs with a cold drink in hand!

Bring your sunscreen, bug spray, and whatever beverages you want (including alcohol!) as long as they're not in glass containers. You can even bring a plastic (not styrofoam) cooler and tie it into another tube (you'll have to pay extra for the tube). The cost this year is $10 a tube (cash only).

PLEASE NOTE
We will be on the River at 11:00am. Please get there between 10:00am and 10:30am. If you get there at 11am, we will be gone

For those that want to go to Treasure Island Casino to eat at the buffet, be aware that the dinner buffet (Prime Rib!) doesn't open until 4pm. There are several other nearby small restaurants in the area that will pop up on a Google search if you don't want to wait until then.

A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE is required to rent tubes (one deposit per group, maximum 15 tubes under one deposit). Life jackets are available upon request free of charge. We recommend wearing a pair of tennis shoes or sandals on your trip. Anyone ten years of age or under are required to wear a life jacket according to law.

*Glass bottles and containers, Styrofoam coolers, kegs, beer bongs, and beads are NOT allowed on the river. Please help us keep the water clean by putting all trash in coolers or plastic bags*

• Meet at 10am at Welch Mill to rent your tube. Bring your Valid Driver's License and Cash (no credit cards)
• Bus for the drop-off point leaves about 10:30am
• Float down the river... we'll stop halfway for BYO lunch
• Arrive back at Welch Mill to de-tube and cruise back home!

Tubing Rate: $9/tube group rate, plus a free tube for your cooler! *Any tubes not returned will require a $15 replacement fee*

Tube Trip Info

• Long Trip 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours
• Short Trip 1 hour. (You may float our Short Trip as many times as you would like while we are shuttling)
• Tube Trips vary due to fluctuating water level.
• Use the river at your own Risk
• Welch Mill does not accept credit, debit, or check cards as payment
