Bears Uncorked Wine Tasting returns for Summer!
In June we will be exploring organic, natural, sustainably grown, and biodynamic wines. What are those, you ask? Google it! There is lots of information out there and wine suggestions are available from sites like Food & Wine, The Wine Spectator, and the Organic Wine Journal. It's definitely worth reading a little about the specifics of biodynamic farming. In your local store, look for indicators on labels like Napa Green.
The appetizers will feature a sampling of organic and natural foods and some old favorites. It's up to you to provide the bio-dynamics, bear style. Last year we found our hors d'voeuvres have gotten pretty fancy so please chip in $10 with your bottle of wine to cover the costs for the great food!
