Charlie Strigo Memorial Service PDF Print E-mail
ImageIt is with great sadness that the family of Charlie Harvey Strigo Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, June 25th, 2006, at the age of 35 years.

A native of Brevard, North Carolina, Charlie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University of North Carolina, Charlotte. He was employed by McPete Architect and Design Company in Eagan, Minnesota.

Charlie will be forever remembered by his partner and best friend, Shane and by his parents, Charlie Sr. and Wilda Strigo. He also holds a permanent place in the hearts of numerous dear friends, neighbors and extended family members. Any one who had the privilege of knowing Charlie was regaled with his zest for life and love of creating beautiful things. Architecture, landscaping, old building restoration, design and catering presentations were some of his many passions and talents. His big, giving heart was always evident, and he never failed to help out family, friends or neighbors, especially in any time of need. Charlie never met a stranger; he was always welcoming new people into his life, and their lives were enhanced as a result.

All of the people who Charlie touched, or would've touched in time, with his warmth, humor and decency are suffering a huge loss with his premature departure from a world that needs more souls like him.

A memorial service in memory of Charlie will be held on Saturday, August 5, at 1:00 P.M., at the First Christian Church, 2201 First Ave S, Minneapolis, MN, 55404 with Rev. Daniel Adolphson and Rev. Dennis Sanders officiating. As a special way to honor Charlie’s memory, please bring a single-stem flower of your choice. Following the service, a celebration of Charlie’s life will be held back at his house (1406 18th Ave N., Minneapolis, MN., 55411)

Memorial Donations in memory of Charlie can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
