Pride in the Park
Sat - Sun, June 27th-28th Loring Park - between Tennis Courts and Garden
Once again we'll have a North Country Bears booth at the Pride Festival in Loring Park. Stop by for a bottle of water and socialize with your friends! We'll have a raffle for a free Fun Fur All pass each day with a free ticket per person. Lee Pepper may be available during the weekend for some 5 minute massages as well!
Turns out we may not need help setting up, but we'd like to have some volunteers to officially man the booth for 1 hour shifts. Basically, just sit at the front table as a friendly greeter and answer any questions. Email us your preferred times at
, plus we'll have a signup sheet at the booth.
We're in the same location as last year. Our booth numbers are 2022 and 2023, which are located near the Pride Coffeehouse between the Tennis Courts and the Garden. In other words, right next to the food court!
Rub-a-Dub-Cub!
Fur, foam, and fun! The North Country Bears have an exciting float for the Pride Parade this year! We have turned a 14 foot trailer into a giant bathtub and shower complete with a huge rubber duck, and now all we need are some hot bears and cubs to fill it!
Get you and your fellow bears "dirty" with washable pride-color body paint, then get clean with the foam machine that ensures everyone gets coated in suds, plus we'll have a real shower with running water onboard! Rubber-soled shoes or flip-flops recommended (they will get wet). If you are interested in stripping down to your colorful bathing suit and showing your bear pride, let us know at

If keeping your shirt on is more your style, we also need volunteers to walk alongside the float to hand out rainbow-colored bottles of bubbles. Wearing your NCBears shirt would be ideal!
